CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) is a group of individuals and families who have pledged to support a local farm, with growers and consumers sharing the risks and benefits of food production. CSA members or subscribers pay at the onset of the growing season for a share of the anticipated harvest and receive weekly or monthly shares of the farm’s bounty.
Our Full Share CSA provides our members with a monthly share of pastured meats. Each share contains approximately 20-22 lbs of meat, including:
-100% Grass-Fed Beef- a varied selection of ground beef, roasts, and steaks
-Chicken Raised on Pasture and Organic Grains- your share will contain whole chickens and/or various cuts
-Heritage Breed Pork Raised in Wooded Paddocks and on Pasture- a varied selection of sausage, bacon, ground pork, chops, tenderloin and roasts
Our Half Share CSA contains approximately 10-12 lbs of meat, including a varied selection of chicken, beef and pork cuts.
A Full Share is $140 a month with a six-month commitment.
A Half Share is $70 a month with a six-month commitment.
*We also offer a pork-free CSA for members who would like to purchase a Full or Half Share of ONLY beef and chicken. Prices are the same as above.
CSA pick-up locations at Donelson Farmer's Market and St. George's Farmer's Market in Belle Meade.
First pick-ups for 2016 Season will be on Thursday June 9th at St. George's Episcopal Church and Friday June 10th at Donelson Farmer's Market
